Zero-Retention Geodetic Architecture

Coordinate transformations and batch CSV file reprojections run client-side in your web browser memory using JavaScript and Web Workers. The coordinate values, points, or files you process are never transmitted to, logged by, or stored on our servers.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

Because all geodetic mathematics execute locally on your device:

  • We do not collect, view, or store the coordinates you input.
  • We do not upload or store CSV, TSV, or Excel files uploaded to the Batch Converter.
  • We do not record geographic search queries or reverse geocoding lookups on our backend servers.

2. Transparent Network Telemetry & Third-Party Services

While coordinate calculations execute locally in your browser, visiting Coordinate-Converter.com involves standard HTTP requests to essential infrastructure and advertising partners:

  • Content Delivery & Hosting (Vercel CDN): Static assets are delivered via a global CDN. Web server edge nodes process standard technical access logs (client IP address, User-Agent, requested file URL) for DDoS mitigation, caching, and operational security.
  • Interactive Map Tiles (OpenStreetMap / Carto): When viewing the interactive map on tool pages, your browser downloads visual map tiles directly from tile server networks. These requests include standard HTTP headers and tile bounding box coordinates. Coordinate values are never transmitted to map providers.
  • Site Analytics (Google Analytics 4): We use anonymized analytics to measure overall site traffic, device types, and page performance. Coordinate values and user files are never sent to analytics endpoints.
  • Advertising (Google AdSense): Displays contextually relevant advertisements. Google AdSense uses cookies to serve ads based on prior visits. Users may manage personalized ad preferences through Google Ad Settings.
