Pre-Flight Data Verification
A "Pre-Flight" check is the final barrier between a successful project and a costly liability claim. Follow these steps to ensure your data is mission-ready.
Step 1: Format Validation
Is the data in MGRS, UTM, or Lat/Long? Ensure the format is consistent across all mission software (e.g., DJI Pilot 2 and ArcGIS).
Step 2: Datum Alignment
Are you using "WGS84 (G1762)" or a local State Plane system? A mismatch here causes a predictable but avoidable 1-2 meter shift.
Step 3: Precision Verification
Check decimal places. For 1-meter precision, you need at least 5 decimal places in Latitude/Longitude. Our tool can help you verify this.
