Key Photogrammetry Standards

• Ground Control Points (GCPs): Physical aerial target markers surveyed with GNSS RTK to anchor drone orthomosaics to real-world national grids.
• GSD (Ground Sample Distance): The distance on the ground represented by a single pixel in an aerial image (e.g. 1.5 cm/pixel).
• RTK / PPK Geotagging: Direct camera center position recording during flight, reducing required GCP count by up to 80%.
